THE STORY

We didn't rush it.

Alex,

Plenty of products get pushed out the door fast. The Reaper wasn't one of them.

Texas Triggers spent months testing this drop-in FRT before it ever went on sale, with one goal: build something engineered specifically for the Sig Sauer P320 instead of a one-size-fits-all part.

That's the standard behind everything we sell, and the Reaper is the newest example. The Reaper is available now and ready to ship.

BREAK-IN GUIDE

Break-in matters. Here's how to do it right.

Alex, if your P320 is brand new out of the box, it needs a break-in period before the Reaper runs as intended. This doesn't apply to guns that are already broken in.

Expect around 400–600 rounds before things run smooth. That lines up with Sig Sauer's own factory break-in period for the platform, which wears down a factory coating inside the gun that reduces friction.

• Dry-cycle to speed it up: with the FRT installed, hold the trigger back and manually rack the slide open and closed, repeating the motion.
• This works the same components that break in during live fire, so you can cut down on the round count needed.
• Already-broken-in gun? You're ready to go.

P.S. Always follow safe gun-handling practices when you dry-cycle. Keep the firearm unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.

SETUP GUIDE

Feed it right.

Alex, ammo choice matters with a Reaper. Here's our guidance:

We recommend 115–124 grain ammunition, with the right grain depending on how broken in your gun is before install.

• Well broken-in gun: 115 grain works well
• Still breaking in: the heavier end of the range is the better fit
• Best performance: Blazer Brass Full Metal Jacket Round Nose (FMJ)

FAQ

The quick answers.

Alex, here are the questions we hear most:

Is it really drop-in? Yes. The Reaper is a true drop-in kit for the supported P320 models.

Do I need a break-in? Only if your P320 is brand new. Expect roughly 400–600 rounds. Guns that are already broken in don't need it.

Will it work on my Compact or Carry? It will; those models may need a 14 lb recoil spring and compatible guide rod.

Is it made or endorsed by SIG SAUER? No. The Reaper is not manufactured, authorized, endorsed, or warranted by SIG SAUER, and SIG SAUER does not warrant that it is compatible with SIG SAUER pistols.
